The Critic

The Man In The Arena, famous quote by President Theodore Roosevelt, "It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat".

The Critic

A critic is a person, who won't think twice about lashing out at you,
Especially if you are creative as they'll try to enmesh you in their glue.

The derivation comes from crisis meaning a dangerous and worrying time,
Due to a life situation they are avoiding and are directing at you line by line.

You can't really blame the person because they truly are not aware,
Suppression by nullification is their method of survival to boost their inner despair.

I actually place the fault within the realm of the person's friends,
For their lack of living guidance that they totally failed to extend.

As living is having and following a purpose this is the vital key,
To unlocking their inner turmoil and simply assisting the person to be.

Because without taking stock in oneself and pursuing any dream of their own,
An empty shell of confusion remains in which they so desperately defend as home.

Thus the petty foibles of others are always on red alert,
And that triggers the person's selflessness and makes them go berserk.
